Tony Spann
Tony Spann

Maybe there was something in the water. Tony grew up in a Chicago suburb designed by Fredrick Law Olmstead, six blocks from Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and studio. He and his father would go downtown to watch works in process such as the John Hancock Building, Standard Oil Building and Sears Tower. It was in this environment Tony discovered he would like to be an architect.

Today, Tony is the managing principal of Harrison Design Associates’ California offices, where he previously established a diverse residential and commercial practice. His renovation and historic preservation expertise gives his clients a significant advantage. In balancing their needs with the unique challenges presented by regional building guidelines, Tony draws on his service with city and county architectural review boards and business associations.
