Greg Palmer
Greg Palmer   Greg Palmer is principal of Harrison Design Associates (HDA) overseeing studios in Atlanta and St. Simons Island, Georgia. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Southern Technical Institute, he began a career with a wide variety of projects, including commercial, residential, historical renovation and resort design. A decade later, he joined Bill Harrison at HDA, together establishing a firm that is nationally recognized for its contribution to the resurgence of classical residential and commercial architecture.

Greg believes that design should be guided by thorough client interviews rather than preconceived notions. His interactive approach has resulted in projects that are genuine reflections of each individual’s lifestyle; as well as, a portfolio hallmarked by exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and functionality. He routinely collaborates with the nation’s leading designers, landscape architects and builders, thereby offering his clients access to the finest resources within the industry.

In his life as an architect, from the initial client interview to a project's completion, Greg finds fulfillment in a constant mindfulness of how his work will affect the people who inhabit his designs. This connection between architecture and its inhabitants is both personal and emotional. Greg is devoted to mentoring intern architects both within the company and at local college and university programs. In addition to participating in classroom juries and leading student site tours, Greg was instrumental in establishing the firm’s Visiting Scholars Endowment Fund at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
