Classical detailing, proportion and scale were guiding factors in the design of this historically based Georgian-style home. The five-part brick structure includes a main block with symmetrical wing masses and hyphens. Limestone quoins, jack arches and sills, and carved limestone plaques representing the highest degree of detailing and materials, are apparent on the central block of the home. By design, the detailing is becomes less intricate on the wings and hyphens. These differences impart a feeling of age, suggesting a home built by successive generations.
